Dr. Maged started his career as a house officer at Ain Shams University hospitals, Egypt in 2004. In 2005 he joined the Cardiology department as a resident of Cardiology and stayed there for 3 years. In 2009 he joined the same department as an interventional cardiology specialist for which he stayed for another 4 years. In 2013, after fulfilling his MD degree, he was given the position of Consultant of interventional cardiology and Head of the Cardiac catheterization laboratory. In November 2016, he moved to the UAE and joined Medeor hospital in Al Ain and is currently working there as a Cardiology Specialist.
Dr. Maged has more than 11 years of experience in his field. His key areas of expertise include non-invasive cardiac procedures such as adult trans-thoracic and trans-esophageal echocardiography, treadmill stress ECG, HOLTER and tilt table testing. He also has extensive experience in adult coronary intervention (elective and emergency primary PCI). He also holds memberships in the Egyptian and European Society of Cardiology.
